A 5-DAYS INTENSIVE ROBOTIC COURSE – RBT STEM by UTEM, Melaka collaboration with Sheer Global Travel
The main OBJECTIVES of this program include:
1. Provide teaching and training for students who are interested in learning Arduino in a structured course.
2. Students will be exposed and shared knowledge about UTeM's innovative products, namely Smart Robot Cars to avoid obstacles automatically.
3. As a motivation in raising technological awareness to school students.
4. Provide exposure to students on research equipment and components such as the Arduino as a control system for electronic projects as well as robot construction. In addition, skills in the functions of LED display functions, analog inputs, analog outputs and sensors as well as data display using codes or programs that have been set in the Arduino circuit board are also explained theoretically. Finally, the participants' skills were strengthened through circuit connection work using circuit boards resulting in a complete robot.
5. Attract school students to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) with various activities based on engineering design applications. 6. Provide skills to students who do not have the basics in the use of Arduino sets that are widely used in schools throughout Malaysia. The students involved will be taught to build robots and control them using appropriate programming. They will carry out practical activities with the help of virtual and experienced facilitators through expertise in the field.
IMPLEMENTATION
Module 5-Day Robotic Course - RBT STEM will be implemented online through the WEBEX application according to the following dates from 30th Jan – 27 Feb 2021 each Saturday.
Interested participants will register through the Google Form that has been created and then make an online payment to Sheer Global Travel for registration.
The program will broadcast live for three (3) hours for 5 days.
